IT Service Desk Analyst - Law Firm - Central London

IT Service Desk Analyst, working for a solcitors firm in London with scope for career progression to 2nd and 3rd line support in the future.

*You must have experience working for a law firm in a service desk role in the past*

You will have at least 2 years IT Service Desk / Helpdesk support experience within a service delivery team, ITIL and work with within a Microsoft support environment

As the IT Service Desk Analyst you should have the following experience ideally:

  • Ideally, 2 years' experience working in an IT Service Desk Analyst / IT Helpdesk Analyst role
  • Worked for a law firm in a service desk analyst role
  • Working within the IT Service Desk team to support the delivery of the IT service delivery strategy.
  • Good general knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Windows operating systems, desktop/laptop hardware, ITIL and smartphone technologies

IT Service Desk Analyst role overview

  • This position provides day-to-day Service Desk support across the business worldwide,
  • The IT Service Desk role is responsible for supporting the provision and continual improvement of IT support services
  • Working within the IT Service Desk team and with the other IT teams to support the delivery of a good quality IT Service Desk service to defined performance metrics
  • To work within the agreed IT service delivery strategy
  • Maintain an effective IT Service Desk service, ensuring delivery against the agreed service delivery goals and objectives, providing maximum availability and performance of the IT Service Desk service throughout the organisation.
  • Capturing, logging and dealing with calls, emails and self-service actions to the IT Service Desk
  • Gathers information to enable incident resolution and promptly allocates incidents as appropriate. Maintains records and advises relevant persons of actions taken.
  • Resolution of incidents where possible, aiming to achieve a high first-time fix rate. Escalation to Systems Team as necessary. Incident resolution may involve desk-side support.
