Job Benefits:Comprehensive benefits packageKey PurposeThe IT Solution Architect collaborates with stakeholders to identify gaps between business requirements and IT capabilities, define solutions, and ensure project scope and alignment with architectural principles and IT strategy. They work closely with clients to understand business needs and design IT solutions, considering the overall impact on business profitability. They are experts in specific IT areas with broad knowledge of current and emerging technologies.Structure and Reporting RelationshipThe Solution Architect collaborates with IT Project Managers, Enterprise Architects, and other architects to ensure solutions align with architectural roadmaps and business strategy. They manage their work within agreed frameworks, supported by the Build Team.Key AccountabilitiesCollaborate with the IT Project Manager to understand business needs and design solutions for projects.Work with business development and bid teams to create solutions and cost models for bids.Attend solution reviews and governance boards to ensure adherence to architectural standards.Present solution designs and cost models within the governance framework.Coordinate with IT professionals to design solutions for business operations and bids.Ensure compliance with architectural designs during project and bid implementation.Provide architectural guidance and design leadership to the project delivery team.Support the delivery team and manage the change control process.Communicate technical issues and IT strategies to non-technical stakeholders and IT professionals.Align with the IT Project Manager and BU DP to meet solution design milestones.Produce solution and service designs aligned with business needs and Enterprise Architecture roadmaps.Review supplier proposals for quality and compliance with Enterprise Architecture roadmaps and standard services.Describe solution and service designs in detail for planning and understanding by business users.Outline the structure of solutions, including multiple applications and technologies.Essential technical and professional skills, knowledge, and qualificationsStrong background in at least one IT discipline: CRM, case management, telephony, Azure, cloud technologies, Dynamics, SaaS, RPA/AI, or data analytics.Experience with government-outsourced opportunities and understanding business requirements while staying current with IT technologies.Degree in an IT-related discipline or equivalent experience, with knowledge of modern IT infrastructure and cloud-based technologies.Ability to provide clear solutions to business problems and think analytically and logically.Effective communication skills for conveying technical details to non-technical clients.Up-to-date exposure to current technologies.Skill in identifying technical issues and designing solutions.Strong time management and prioritization skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Proactive in anticipating problems and solutions.Ability to build strong relationships with business and IT stakeholders.Good knowledge of security standards, legislation, and best practices.Ownership and accountability for professional development.
