IT Support Trainee/Apprentice

IT Support Trainee/Apprentice required to work onsite Monday - Friday 5 days a week (required to work 1 Saturday in 3 and then 1 Saturday in 4 weekends).

My client is based in Thatcham, as this is a very rural area, you will need to have your own transport (ESSENTIAL).

Please note my client will not be able to sponsor you if you do need sponsoring�please do NOT send in your application. This includes Tier 4 Post Study Visa's and Tier 2 General Visa's too as after expiry date you will need sponsoring.

Job responsibilities:

Full training will be provided, once trained up you will be expected to support the following:

• Responsible for the smooth running of all of desktops; laptops; tablets; smart devices; Operating�Systems�and applications, Internet caf�s and other client facing areas.


• Monitor the IT service desk in support of all client's areas.


• Provide support for all IT related projects and you will be required to work 1 Saturday in 3 and then 1 in 4 weekends - 9-1pm.

Skills required:

• You must have a passion for IT


• Show willingness to learn new skills, keen & enthusiastic�


• Want to understand ITIL procedures.�


• Knowledge of following will expected (once fully trained) as these are the technologies my client currently uses: Windows desktop administration; Microsoft Office suite; LAN/WAN maintenance; audio visual solutions and IT security.


• Want to learn AV.
