The IT Systems Administrator will focus on Microsoft Enterprise Software & Hardware. Working mainly on BAU with some projects. Must be willing to work on site 5 days per week.

Our Client is a Manufacturing & Production business near Melksham.

Description

  • Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of all IT systems to provide maximum performance and availability.
  • Coordinate and execute IT software and hardware upgrades.
  • Develop and maintain IT system documentation and processes.
  • Provide technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone).
  • Set up accounts for new users and assist with password or login problems.
  • Participate in business-wide meetings to suggest efficiency-enhancing IT practices and policies.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends.

Profile

A successful Group IT Systems Administrator should have:

  • Essential:

    • Minimum two years experience working in an IT environment
    • Administration of Azure Active Directory, Exchange Online, O365 including Teams, OneDrive & SharePoint Online
    • Administration of On-premise Active Directory & Group Policy
    • Experience supporting a large number of users across multiple sites
    • Experience of:
      • Microsoft Windows 10 and Windows Server
      • General desktop and office IT equipment troubleshooting
      • Setting up IT Accounts & desktop & laptop builds
    • Driving license

    Desirable:

    • Experience of manufacturing industry
    • Virtual Server configuration
    • LAN, network maintenance and configuration
    • Experience configuring SharePoint
    • Experience of Data Analytics
    • Citrix
