IT Systems Support

My client is a leading pioneer and a renowned institute within the Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Sectors having secured funding from the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council.

Over the past ten years, the institute has acquired over 500 researchers in addition to a team of research software engineers and data scientists.

As a result of on-going expansion, my client is recruiting for an IT Systems Support role to work alongside the IT Desktop Manager and IT Technical Team Leader.
RESPONSIBILITES

• Support all IT Systems from 1st/2nd line support.
• PC Management
• Problem-solving, Troubleshooting technical issues.
• Build, and configure laptops for new starters.
• IT Inductions
• Hardware and Software asset management
• Create new users for my clients Systems
  

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience working in IT Services using MS Intune, Laptop and MAC OS Builds. Active Directory. Office365. Windows 10, 11.
• Previous experience of working in a 1st/2nd line support role, minimum 2 years.
• Security Awareness experience and excellent attention to detail.
• IT Hardware builds for Windows devices, Macs, and troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of Incident/Request management and ticket handling.
• Monitoring and experience in Zoom and Zoom Rooms.
  

This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract role that will require 2 days a week in the London Office.

In return, my client offers a salary of up to £36,00 plus a benefits package from the first day of employment.
