Key Responsibilities:



  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging IT lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with opportunities to contribute to Key Stage 5 if applicable.


  • Inspire and support students of all abilities, helping them to develop confidence and competence in digital literacy, computing, and IT systems.


  • Contribute to the development of the school's IT curriculum, ensuring it remains current, relevant, and aligned with national standards.


  • Use a range of teaching methods and technologies to cater to different learning styles and abilities.


  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration.


  • Work collaboratively with other staff, contributing to whole-school development and ICT integration across departments.


  • Support students in developing practical skills in areas such as coding, hardware, digital safety, and software applications.

Requirements:

    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant experience teaching IT or Computer Science in a secondary school setting.

  • Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the national IT/Computing curriculum#####>

  • Excellent communication and organisational sk#####.

    A passion for teaching and the ability to inspire students through engaging lessons.
