IT Technical Account ManagerRemote, extensive travel throughout UK & I requiredInsurance experience essentialThe IT Technical Account Manager is responsible for supporting the sales process by providing deep technical knowledge and communicating how technology products can solve market / client problems. This role involves close collaboration with the sales teams, engaging with clients, and contributing to the company’s market presence through various activities.The IT Technical Account Manager will support client engagement with our technology suite via presentations and demonstrations at client and prospective client meetings, articulate our technology proposition through the production of compelling RFP responses and market collateral, present and maintain the profile of our technology offering at appropriate market events, and attend supplier briefings to understand the latest technologies and trends. This role requires a deep understanding of the insurance and highly regulated industries, as well as the ability to communicate how complex technical products can solve particular business problems.Key Accountabilities Pre-Sales Engagement:Collaborate with Davies' sales teams on pipeline activities and pre-sales meetings.Help client teams to position and demonstrate our technology products.Support client and sales teams to answer clients’ technology product questions.Understand client requirements and propose new solutions for internal consideration and investment.Market Presence:Deliver compelling presentations at industry conferences and events to showcase our solutions.Draft product sales collateral and award submissions.Knowledge Sharing:Attend internal and supplier briefings to stay updated on our product development, on market trends, and on technological advancements.Share insights and knowledge with product owners to influence product development.Create collateral for sales teams to use to demonstrate products and convey roadmaps.Essential Skills and Attributes:Technical Proficiency:Experienced in customer relationship management and pre-sales.Experienced in technology trends and software product management.Experienced in insurance industry.Experienced in writing promotional collateral.Communication:Communicates in a clear and concise manner, both written and verbal.Confident presenter.Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate and work towards common goals.Calm under pressure.Analytical Skills: Highly analytical with the ability to translate how business problems are solved by technical products.Leadership and Self-Motivation:Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to work with limited supervision.Capable of leading by example and being a role model to others.Organisational Skills:Strong work ethic and ability to work with limited supervision.Our Values:Dynamic: We adapt swiftly to change, always looking ahead.Innovative: Solution-focused, with an entrepreneurial mindset.Succeed together: We succeed together, valuing diverse perspectives.Connected: United under one mission, making a difference.We’re committed to equal opportunities and support applicants with disabilities.
