Janitor  Location: Dumfries, DG1 4FD

Hours: 35 per week
Pay Rate: £14.45 per hour

About the Role: We are recruiting a Janitor for a third-party client based in Dumfries. This is a key role providing a high-quality, customer-facing support service to ensure the smooth operation, maintenance, and security of the building. Key Responsibilities: Provide a high-quality support service for the buildings and grounds.
Patrol buildings and grounds, ensuring users comply with conduct, noise, and food policies.
Supervise the main entrance and surrounding areas, enforcing no-smoking and parking rules.
Assist with building access and maintenance during emergencies such as snow or minor floods.
Support statutory testing and compliance checks, including fire safety and legionella checks.
Provide janitorial assistance for College events, including evening and external functions.
Relocate equipment and furniture for events and room setups.
Assist in maintaining the security of the premises and conduct minor maintenance tasks.
Key Skills & Requirements: Experience in a janitorial or maintenance role.
