Planned upgrade from Java v17 to the latest version Java v.21Principal ResponsibilitiesThe role will be part of a global team that is responsible for the development of a real-time trade capture system that processes, normalizes and enriches the firm’s executions in multiple asset classes, and feeds the executions to various internal systems, including real-time P&L and risk systems.Qualifications/Skills Required5+ years of Java or other language experienceExpertise in Multithreading, Object Oriented design, Design Patterns, Unit & Integration testingExperience in Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud technologyFamiliarity with CI/CD and dev ops toolsFamiliarity with Angular, web technologyFamiliarity with Python and Go, postgresqlExperience with middleware technologies like JMS or Kafka.Experience with Spring (core, integration, transactions, etc)Experience with relational databases, hibernateDetail oriented; Demonstrates thoroughness and strong ownership of workGood team player with a strong willingness to participate and help othersAble to prioritize in a fast moving, high pressure, constantly changing environment; Good sense of urgencyStrong communication skillsQuick learnerPlease contact me for full job spec & client details #####
