Up to FIVE Java Software Engineers with a back-end focus and a good level of commercial experience with Microservices and Kafka are required to join a major name within the world of Financial Services as they commence on a major replatforming project involving all of their core banking services. This is a huge investment in their technology, which will push boundaries to shape the future of finance.
As a Java Software Engineer, you will have experience with Core Java, be skilled with Microservices architecture and have working experience with Kafka or similar event-driven communication. Further expertise within Golang, Python, Cloud (GCP/AWS), API's, Kubernetes & Docker would be seen as a plus.
In the role you will be hands-on developing a core banking platform that services customers through multiple channels through the use of modern technology and engineering approaches. This is a significant roadmap spanning over the next 4-5 years which offers a unique platform to get really involved with the complete re-design of major applications and platforms.
You'll be driven by your own high engineering standards, knowledge sharing and delivering real business value.
