JavaScript Developer (ES2015, VueJS, Native JavaScript)UK Remote (1 day in office per month). £50000 - £70000 + £5k Bonus Please note my client cannot offer sponsorship for this role and you must go into the office 1 day per month. Your new company I’m working with a specialist SaaS provider to recruit an experienced JavaScript Developer with a deep knowledge of both native/vanilla JS and a modern framework such as Vue. You’ll be able to work fully remote or with time in one of their offices in Hampshire or London, and you’ll be building the next iteration of their platform which is utilised by 80+ of the world’s leading blue chip companies.Your new role You’ll be joining a business where the leadership team are Ex-Developers. They understand Devs and what motivates them so there will be no timesheets here, no unrealistic deadlines and no compromise on equipment or software for the team to use. They value productivity and want to provide the best conditions for their staff.The platform you’d be working on already best-in-class for the sector it serves, but everything within it is custom built enabling them to scale and to attack new markets so it’s a very exciting time to be joining. For this reason we need strong ES2015+ coding, object-oriented coding, native DOM manipulations etc. Someone interested in working on data-driven complex algorithms/mastering a code base with millions of lines of code rather than thousands will fit well.You’ll join a small but experienced Front End Development team of 6, with the chance to have real ownership and influence into the product. There’s no technical debt and it’s almost bug-free, so an amazing environment to be stepping into.What you'll need to succeed This role is open to a Mid-level or a Senior hire.We’re looking for deep native/vanilla JavaScript knowledge (5 years+) along with strong (ES2015+), DOM manipulation, CSS and HTML.We would also like commercial experience using a modern JavaScript Framework / SPA’s. They are moving to Vue 3, but can train people on this so are open to Vue/Angular/React/Next.You’ll have a strong understanding of OOP, Asynchronous programming and bonus skills would be Inline SVGs, modern DevOps and JavaScript Testing techniques, along with C#/SQL, Restful API’s.What you'll get in return You’ll join a team where work life balance is of paramount importance.
