Joinery Pre-Production Design: AutoCAD & Inventor

We are looking for a CAD Technician/Draughtsperson to work at our client in Wiltshire. The company specialises in the design and fit out of high end residential interiors throughout the UK.

The successful CAD Technician/Draughtsperson's responsibilities will include:

- Producing working/setting out drawings from Interior Designers/Architect drawings.

- Carry out site surveys as required

- Following procedures and standards for the production, saving and distribution of drawings, cutting sheets, ironmongery and door schedules in accordance with timescales

- Organising the printing, collating, recording and monitoring of all drawings and related documents for each individual project received in

- Arranging and organising the distribution of samples

- Completing weekly Project Costing/Time Allocated Sheets correctly and honestly

- Ensuring drawings and materials are approved and signed off by the Clients & Contract Manager
The successful CAD Technician/Draughtsperson must:

- Be competent in AutoCAD & (Inventor or Solidworks or Cabinet Vision)

- Be a team player

- Be keen to learn
The successful CAD Technician/Draughtsperson will preferably:

- Have a background in Cabinet making or Joinery

- Have a design based qualification
Please note shortlisted candidates will be asked to provide a portfolio, this should consist of one PDF file containing examples of working drawings.
Graduates will be considered for this position.
