Joint Early Years Nursery Team Leader

A Nursery in Golders Green is looking for a confident Joint Team Leader to join their team working with children up to the age of 2 alongside the exisiting Team Leader.

The Manager is looking for someone who is warm, caring, kind and passionate about childcare.

This is a full time permanent position and you will be required to work the following days & hours therefore please only apply if you can commit to the following:

• Monday to Friday


• 845am-6pm

If you meet the following requirements then please apply today:

• Minimum Level 3 Qualified in Childcare


• Experience working with Early Years


• At least 1 year in a supervisor/management role


• Up to date DBS (If not, must be willing to complete one)


• Understanding of Ofsted requirements, safeguarding & EYFS


• Excellent communication skills both written & spoken

You will be required to carry out the following duties alongside the exisitng Team Leader:

• Working in a team and alongside Room Leader


• Ability to lead a team in a professional and supportive manner


• Follow Nurseries policies and procedures


• Sharing innovative new ideas


• Ensuring the children's needs are met as well as keeping them safe at all times


• Carry out observations and planning on key children following EYFS framework


• Communicate with children, staff and parents on a daily basis

The nursery is closed during the year on the following weeks therefore this is when you will also take your annual leave:

• 9 work days at Christmas


• 4 work days at Easter


• 10 work days at the end of August


• All bank holidays

salary Up to £40,000 (dependent on experience & qualifications)
