Job Summary
We are recruiting Junior Account Manager to join an independent, boutique medical communications agency in Oxford. This agency offers strategic medical communication programmes for a wide variety of account types, serving both local and international pharmaceutical clients. This role involves publications and medical affairs work across therapy areas as varied as Parkinson's Disease, climate change, and anti-inflammatories. This is a hybrid position, requiring two days per week in central Oxford.
Experience
- Medical communications agency experience: You have experience in a similar role in medical communications, perhaps as an Account Executive or Senior Account Executive. - Scientific understanding: Ideally, you have a degree in life sciences or extensive project management experience in med comms. - An eagle eye for accuracy: You ensure SOPs and compliance with industry standards, track project forecasting and finances accurately. - Great interpersonal skills: You’re confident, articulate, and a delight for clients to work with, knowing that strong client relationships are essential to the agency’s success.
Job Responsibilities
- Working across local and international medical communications projects in publications, medical affairs, and medical education.
- Taking client briefs and closely collaborating with colleagues to accurately interpret them.
- Taking ownership of internal and client project meetings, creating status reports, schedules, client agendas, and meeting summaries.
