Salary: �24,000- 29,000 dependent on experience

I am actively looking for a passionate Junior Architectural Technologist to join a RIBA Chartered practice in the picturesque Gloucester. This dynamic practice have 4 decades of experience delivering beautifully crafted, technically excellent, innovative projects across a diverse mix of sectors including commercial, healthcare, leisure and hospitality. The practice have cultivated a collaborative environment with sector specific leaders ensuring excellent training and support is provided. They have earnt themselves an excellent reputation highlighted in their long term relationships with clients and are dedicated to ensuring their designs have a sustainability focus.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience on a mix of projects in a supportive and collaborative environment whilst developing their technical detailing and drawing abilities. The practice also offer strong progression opportunities, a generous pension contribution scheme and 20 days of annual leave with bank holidays and Christmas shut down as additional.

The successful Junior Architectural Technologist will have strong technical abilities highlight through their portfolio, ideally have some post qualification experience working in ArchiCAD on a range of projects.

Skills, Experience and Responsibilities for the role of Junior Architectural Technologist:

  • Ideally be a CIAT member
  • Degree or HND/HNC in Architectural technology
  • Ideally some experience post qualification in a UK practice
  • Strong technical abilities
  • Ideally have experience using ArchiCAD
  • Strong portfolio across a range of Sectors
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Proactive and positive approach to self-development
  • Be able to work well within a team environment as well as independently
  • Confident producing high quality technical drawings
  • Through knowledge of current building regulations
  • Driven to keep up to date with latest software and designs
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Live locally to the Gloucester and surrounding area
