Junior Cad Technician

A new position is available for a Junior CAD technician to join a growing design team based in the Leeds area, where you will be supported in your continued growth and development.

The role will to be integrate into the existing team which operates within the civil engineering sector, covering structural, concrete and reinforcement detailing utilising both AutoCAD and Revit software packages.

Your primary role will be to support the existing team in the production of digital drawings and their management thereafter, as well as to continue your personal develop.

Your key accountabilities would be;

• Production of CAD drawings


• Assist with the production of drawing packs


• Adhere to industry standards for design production


• Assist with QA


• Support design team and CAD lead in other duties as required

To be considered for the role you should fit the following criteria;

• Have already operated within a CAD technician role either with a consultancy or contractor environment.


• Have a good understanding of AutoCAD and Revit.


• High level of self-motivation and a drive to develop further


• Ability to communicate at all levels inhouse and with other stakeholders.
