Your passion, drive to solve problems, and ability to think critically are more important to us than your specific programming skills. Job Role AccountabilitiesWork closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and help translate these into technical requirements for other team members.Identify and develop solutions to system problems and test their suitability Examples of Key ActivitiesCollaborate with senior engineers and product managers to understand project requirements and objectivesParticipate in the design, development, and testing of software products using languages such as Go, C#, Java, TypeScript, or other relevant languages.Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in your chosen language.Contribute to product feature brainstorming and creativity.Assist in optimizing and fine-tuning software applications for performance.Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies through research.Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.Provide support for product deployment and post-launch activities.Key RelationshipsCTO Close workingGraduate Developers Close workingSenior Developers Close workingCorporate AccountabilitiesEnsuring conduct which is consistently and continuously in accordance with FCA RegulationsAlways acting with integrity and ensuring all customers are treated fairly.Complete all mandatory training as and when required.Consistent adherence to and understanding of all policies, procedures, and obligations of the firm as part of its first line of defense of the firm.Qualification, Skills, Knowledge and ExperienceEssentialA Level or equivalent in ITMinimum C-grade in both English and mathematicsDesirableAny STEM subjectsSkills and KnowledgeA genuine interest in computers, engineering, and building products that people love.Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and a passion for solving complex challenges.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and concepts.High attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.Minimum of a C-grade in both English and Mathematics or equivalent qualifications.
