Junior Contracts Manager�



A market leading, electrical contractor, based in Yorkshire, operating nationwide are looking to fill an exciting vacancy for a junior contracts manager, with great opportunities for progression.





This role is perfect for highly motivated individuals with extensive electrical experience, along with experience managing projects and teams, who are looking to take the next step in their career.�





Primarily office based, however hybrid working would be considered, there will also be the requirement to make regular site visits for client meetings, technical surveys, estimating and engineering audits.�





With a defined training and development programme, this position offers a clear route to becoming a contracts manager and more.





The successful candidate should be highly organised, efficient, calm under pressure and client-focussed, with excellent communication skills.�





Responsibilities:







  • Assist in managing multiple electrical contracts, monitoring all aspects of the work to ensure they are delivered on time and to budget.




  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on all projects.




  • Build and maintain strong working relationships clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.




  • Organising labour to ensure projects are on track and delivered to client specification.




  • Liaising with suppliers to ensure materials are delivered on time and at competitive rates.




  • Prepare and manage project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and reports.




  • Collaborate with the senior team to implement best practices and improve operational efficiencies.�




  • Providing support on site, taking responsibility for efficiency and quality, and ensuring we offer the best level of service possible.







Experience:





  • Fully qualified with valid 2360 Part 1 & 2, or 2330 Level 2 & 3, 2382-18 - 18th - Edition and 2391 Inspection & testing qualifications.




  • Experienced in inspection & testing requirements, Electrical installation condition reports and other NICEIC accredited certification.




  • Proven experience working in an electrical role with some experience supervising or managing people and projects.




  • Prepared to travel to sites and work away when required.




  • Ability to work under pressure and to short deadlines.




  • Computer literate.




  • Full UK driving licence.




  • SSSTS or SMSTS qualification would be an advantage, but not essential.




  • NICEIC qualified supervisor would be an advantage, but not essential.




  • AutoCAD would be an advantage, but not essential.




  • Experience using Trimble design software would be an advantage, but not essential.
