Job Title: Junior Freight Forwarding Coordinator
Location: Manchester Freight Terminal Manchester airport
Hours: 8.00am - 5pm. Monday to Friday/ Paid Overtime available
Our client is a well-established global logistics company, specialising in third party logistics (3PL), inventory management, customised fulfilment. Based at Manchester Airport's World Cargo Terminal we are now recruiting for an experienced Air Freight Imports Clerk to join the successful air freight team.
We are now recruiting due to expansion and development a Junior Freight Forwarding Clerk to join the team handling sea and air freight imports and exports freight forwarding
Your role will involve the following duties with full training provided and ongoing until you are up to speed

Duties / tasks:
* Provide an outstanding level of customer service to both internal & external clients
* Handling sea and air freight forwarding / training will be provided
* Taking freight bookings
* Completing sea and air freight documentation
* customs clearance using CDS
* Manage the release of consignments at ports and airports

Experience:
* Experience and exposure of working for freight forwarder or related industry
* Basic grounding understanding of Freight forwarding industry
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Exceptional IT skills
