Junior / Intermediate Quantity Surveyor

I am currently working with a close client of mine who are in the market for a junior / intermediate level quantity surveyor to join their growing team in Watford.

As a Junior Quantity Surveyor, you will assist in the cost management of projects, providing support to Senior Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or early-career professional looking to grow within a dynamic, multi-sector construction environment.

\n

Key Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents.
\n
• Conduct site visits and support site measurement and valuation.
\n
• Monitor project costs and assist with cost reporting.
\n
• Manage subcontractor accounts and procurement.
\n
• Help prepare interim valuations and final accounts.
\n
• Liaise with clients and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
\n

\n

Key Requirements:

\n

\n
• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or similar.
\n
• Strong numerical skills with attention to detail.
\n
• Excellent communication skills and a team player.
\n
• Proficient in MS Excel and basic cost management software.
\n
• Previous experience in Pharmaceutical, Food & Beverage, or Commercial sectors is a plus but not essential.
