Job Title: Junior Power Platform DeveloperLocation: London or Birmingham (Hybrid) (one day in the office per week)Job Type: Contract (Inside IR35)Rate: £200 - £300 per dayDuration: 6 months (potential for extension)Job Description:We are looking for a motivated Junior Power Platform Developer to join our team on a contract basis. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who has foundational experience with Microsoft Power Platform and is eager to develop their skills further. As a Junior Power Platform Developer, you will assist in building, deploying, and maintaining solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.You will work under the guidance of senior developers and collaborate with IT teams and business stakeholders to deliver effective, low-code solutions for optimizing business processes.Key Responsibilities:Assist in the development of business applications using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven Apps).Support the creation of automated workflows with Power Automate.Help design and develop data reports and dashboards in Power BI.Work with senior developers to integrate Power Platform with other systems such as SharePoint, Dynamics 365, and Teams.Learn to manage and use Dataverse for data storage and entity management.Assist in gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.Provide support in troubleshooting issues and delivering enhancements to existing solutions.Adhere to coding best practices and ensure compliance with governance and security guidelines.Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups and sprint reviews to track project progress.Required Skills and Experience:Basic experience in Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate.Some knowledge of Power BI and experience in creating reports or dashboards.Familiarity with Microsoft 365 services (SharePoint, Teams, etc.).Understanding of low-code/no-code development principles.Willingness to learn Dataverse for data management and integration.Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues and willingness to seek guidance from senior developers.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Good communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.Enthusiasm for technology and a desire to grow within the Power Platform space.Preferred Qualifications:Any certifications in Microsoft Power Platform (e.g., PL-900 or PL-100) are a plus.Exposure to Power Query and DAX in Power BI.Familiarity with basic programming concepts (e.g., JavaScript, C#, or SQL).Understanding of Agile project management methodologies.Contract Details:Rate: £200 - £250 per day (Inside IR35)Location: Hybrid (London or Birmingham)Duration: 6 months, with potential for extensionWorking hours: Full-time, Monday to FridayHow to Apply:If you are a Junior Power Platform Developer eager to develop your skills and take on new challenges, please submit your CV along with a brief cover letter outlining your interest in the role.This junior-level job spec outlines the core responsibilities and provides a clear path for those looking to grow their career in Power Platform development.
