The business unit provides our FIG customers with full access to DBS’ Asia focused Global Financial Markets products as well as expertise in Global Transaction Services (cash management and trade finance) and lending products.We are looking to hire a Junior Relationship Manager at associate / senior associate level, initially on a temporary (6 months) contract basis, to support the further growth of our FIG business which is a key strategic focus for the bank globally. The role will be part of our coverage of Non Bank Financial Institutions with a particular focus on insurance and institutional investor clients.Job SummarySupport Senior Relationship Managers in the FIG Coverage team in the management of a portfolio of Non Bank Financial Institutions (insurance and institutional investor clients):Credit analysis - Ensuring the satisfactory credit profile of the portfolio, through production of concise credit analysis in a timely manner for review by the credit risk team and on-going risk monitoring. Provide a deep level of analysis of the creditworthiness of FIG specific transactions including deal structure, client financial analysis, credit risks, transaction profitability and deal rationale.Transaction Execution - Work closely with FIG Relationship Managers, Product Specialists and internal groups including Credit, Legal and Operations, as well as external clients, to aid in the execution and closing of transactions. To be aware of structural risk and documentary issues and be able to execute, monitor and respond to such issues during deal negotiation and over the lifetime of facilities.Post Transaction – Covenant monitoring and addressing amendments to approved credit terms and waiver requests.Customer Due Diligence - Know and adhere to bank policies and external regulations and guidelines, including Know Your Customer requirements.Collaboration - Build good working relationships, and ensure good co-operation with other departments, including cross-border with colleagues throughout the DBS Bank network (liaising with colleagues at our Singapore head office and across our Asian footprint).
