We are currently seeking a motivated and talented Junior Safety Assurance Engineer with 2-3 years of experience to join our dynamic team.
The Opportunity:
This is a challenging but rewarding role designed for a junior Safety Assurance Engineer looking to grow and develop within a well-established and respected team of professionals. Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with delivery teams, customers, regulatory bodies, and other major stakeholders to ensure the safety and reliability of rail systems.
Assist in managing resources and ensuring the timely delivery of tasks.
Support safety verification processes and compliance with Common Safety Methods (CSM RA).
Participate in hazard management activities, including Hazid and Hazop.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of safety requirements.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Communicate effectively to support safety assurance initiatives and project delivery.
Required Skills and Experience:
2-3 years of experience in Safety Assurance within the Rail industry.
Basic understanding of safety verification and Common Safety Methods (CSM RA).
Familiarity with hazard management techniques such as Hazid and Hazop.
Ability to contribute to the development and management of safety requirements.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage resources and tasks efficiently.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
Working towards becoming a Chartered Engineer (or equivalent) is a plus.
Demonstrable experience in Rail System Safety.
