We are currently seeking a motivated and talented Systems Assurance Consultant with 2-3 years of experience to join our dynamic team.
The Opportunity:
This is a challenging but rewarding role designed for a Systems Assurance Consultant with 2-3 years of experience. You will join a well-established and respected team of professionals within a supportive and progressive environment. The projects you will be involved in are highly complex and multidisciplinary in nature.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with delivery teams, customers, regulatory bodies, and other major stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of systems engineering solutions.
Assist in managing resources and ensuring the timely delivery of tasks.
Support project teams in systems engineering processes, including requirements management, verification and validation, system integration, system architecture, interface management, technical assurance, and configuration management.
Develop and implement technical processes and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Utilize tools such as DOORS for requirements management and other relevant tools.
Analyze complex systems to understand the interrelationships between various components.
Apply systems thinking principles to ensure robust engineering solutions.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders at different levels to support project delivery.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Required Skills and Experience:
Engineering degree or equivalent.
Experience in at least one of the following areas: requirements management, verification and validation, system integration, system architecture, interface management, technical assurance, or configuration management.
Experience in the rail industry.
Familiarity with tools such as DOORS.
Experience in developing and implementing technical processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good knowledge of systems thinking principles.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong influencing and relationship-building skills.
Good commercial awareness.
Experience in leadership or management of teams or technical delivery (desirable).
Consultancy experience (desirable).
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
Chartered Engineer (or equivalent) or working towards chartership with a recognized professional body.
