Key Account Coordinator - Transport and Logistics



Location: West Thurrock



**Working Hours:** Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM



Reports To:  Director



Salary:  Competitive, based on experience





Job Overview



We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our transport and logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving revenue growth within the transport and logistics sector. This role requires a dynamic individual with excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of the logistics industry.





Key Responsibilities:



- Manage a portfolio of key accounts within the transport and logistics sector.



- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.



- Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their transport and logistics requirements.



- Monitor and analyze account performance, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.



- Develop and implement account plans to achieve sales targets and business objectives.



- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients.



- Collaborate with internal teams, Transport, customer service, and finance, to ensure seamless service delivery.



- Prepare and present regular reports on account status, performance metrics,



- Identify and resolve any issues or concerns raised by clients in a timely manner.



- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.







Qualifications and Experience:



- Proven experience in Account Management , preferably within the transport and logistics industry.



- Strong understanding of transport and logistics operations and services.



- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.



- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.



- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.



- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.



- Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
