Key Account Manager - Manchester, UK - Up to �38,000

Our client, an internationally recognised, multi-award-winning Logistics Company, is looking for a Key Account Manager to join their growing operation.

The Role:

Maintaining and developing your own client portfolio by proactively managing your allocated accounts, ensuring quality client deliverables are achieved and maximising potential for growth.

Salary: �30,000 - �38,000 + Additional benefits & Bonuses

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years previous in experience in a Key Account Management role within a freight forwarding company is essential
• Previous operational experience across Ocean and Road Freight is essential - Air Freight experience would be a bonus
• An excellent communicator both written and verbally
• Strong negotiation skills with excellent presentation skills
• Proven track record of winning new business from existing Accounts.
• A solid understanding of customer supply chains and KPIs is desirable
• Excellent Tech skills in order to confidently sell our digital supply chain management solution is essential
• Excellent analytical skills with ability to conduct client data review and communicate to the customer the value of our offerings both strategically and financially
• Excellent strategic thinking skills with the ability to plan long term business growth with top clients
