Talented Recruitment Group is seeking a dynamic Foodservice Key Account Manager to join a market-leading food manufacturer in Scotland. This role involves nurturing and expanding relationships within a portfolio of key accounts in the UK Foodservice channel, aiming to drive profitable growth in line with the company's strategic objectives in the Food Service and Out of Home sector.Key Responsibilities:Account Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers.Business Planning: Create Joint Business Plans for each customer to drive growth at agreed profitability levels.Promotional Strategy: Implement a promotional plan aligned with brand values, customer strategies, and internal capacities.Analysis and Reporting: Conduct post-promotional analyses to optimise investment and enhance forecasting accuracy.Trend Monitoring: Track, measure, and evaluate sales trends, providing insights to the Sales Director and the broader business.Administration: Ensure all customer and internal administration is accurate and submitted on time.Customer Availability: Maintain agreed levels of customer availability through regular supply chain contact.Pricing Issues: Support the Finance team in resolving any pricing issues.Budget Planning: Prepare and present annual account plans to the commercial team.Demand Forecasting: Accurately forecast customer demand in line with the monthly sales and operations cycle.Qualifications & ExperienceRequired:Experience managing wholesaler accounts in the Foodservice channel.Understanding of supply chain routes to market and expected margins in Foodservice and OOH channels.Experience in a branded environment.Proven track record of delivering profitable sales growth.Proficiency in using data and insights to support sales proposals.Experience developing sales within national end user accounts in the Foodservice & OOH Channel.Desirable:Experience in the snacking or treat categories.Experience managing Amazon accounts.Skills & Personal Attributes:Strong analytical skills.Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.Proactive and self-motivated.Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.Package:£55K base salary£5K car allowance£11K bonusRemote or hybrid workingOther great perksIf this sounds like a role you would be well suited to, please apply and we will be in touch to discuss the role in more detail.
