Key Account Manager - Security Goods SectorLocation: Leeds, West YorkshireDepartment: Sales and Business DevelopmentReports To: Sales DirectorPosition Type: Full-TimeJob Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Manager to join our client based in Leeds. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with their key clients in the the security goods sector. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of the security industry.Key Responsibilities:Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the needs of each key account, driving revenue growth and market share.Account Planning: Conduct regular account reviews, develop account plans, and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling security goods and services.Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to provide clients with relevant insights and recommendations.Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations with key accounts, ensuring favourable terms and conditions for both the client and the company.Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.Reporting: Provide regular reports on account performance, sales forecasts, and market trends to the Sales Director and senior management.Customer Support: Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by key accounts, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in key account management, preferably within the security goods or related sector.Skills:Strong sales and negotiation skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrategic thinking and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to analyse market data and develop actionable strategiesProficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office SuitePersonal Attributes:Self-motivated and goal-orientedHigh level of integrity and professionalismAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong organisational skills and attention to detailWhat We Offer:Competitive salary and performance-based bonusesProfessional development opportunitiesA dynamic and collaborative work environment
