About the Role:
Randstad Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 1 Teacher to join our team and work within our partner schools across Uckfield. As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to young learners, helping them develop the foundational skills they need to succeed in their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback and support to help each child achieve their potential.
- Work collaboratively with other teachers, support staff, and school leaders to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting a culture of respect and learning.
- Engage with parents and carers to keep them informed of their child's progress and well-being.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for teaching young children and helping them succeed.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
