Key Stage 1 Teacher

Are you a Key Stage 1 Teacher looking for a flexible and rewarding role in a Primary School? Flourish Education is recruiting for a Key Stage 1 Teacher to join a small and welcoming Primary School in Kings Norton. This is a part-time, long-term position starting after Easter and continuing until the end of the academic year. The school is happy to offer flexibility on the working days, making it an excellent opportunity for a Class Teacher or Cover Teacher seeking a work-life balance.

As a Key Stage 1 Teacher you will be responsible for:

• Delivering pre-planned lessons across Key Stage 1 (KS1), including Year 1 and Year 2.
• Ensuring lessons align with the National Curriculum and engaging students in a stimulating learning environment.
• Maintaining excellent behaviour management to create a positive classroom atmosphere.
• Assessing and monitoring pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies as required.
• Collaborating with staff to support the school’s ethos and values.
• Attending meetings and training sessions as required.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT).
• Experience teaching in a Primary School, preferably in Key Stage 1 (KS1).
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• A passion for delivering engaging and effective lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Ability to work collaboratively and flexibly in a team environment.

Working as a Key Stage 1 Teacher for Flourish Education also offers you excellent benefits, including:

• £130 - £170 per day, equating to £25,350 - £33,150 per annum based on working five days a week for a full school year.
