Key Stage 1 Teacher

Are you a Key Stage 1 Teacher looking for a rewarding role in a Small Primary School? We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher to join a welcoming school in Kings Norton. This is a fantastic opportunity to work as a Class Teacher in a supportive environment where staff well-being and development are a priority. This position would be available from Easter and would continue until the end of the academic year.

As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will be responsible for:

• Full Class Teacher responsibilities, including planning and marking.
• Delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Teaching Key Stage 1 (KS1), specifically Year 1, with a focus on Phonics (preferably Read, Write, Inc - RWI).
• Maintaining excellent behaviour management strategies to support learning.
• Assessing and track student progress to ensure high achievement.
• Collaborating with staff and parents to support children's development.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential.
• Proven experience as a Primary Teacher in Key Stage 1 (KS1).
• Strong understanding of the National Curriculum.
• Experience with Phonics, preferably Read, Write, Inc (RWI).
• Ability to implement excellent behaviour management strategies.
