Kitchen Assistant - Greenan -15 hours week

Our friendly team at Meallmore are looking for Part Time Kitchen Assistant to be part of the team at Greenan Manor Care Home in Ayr. Greenan Manor Care Home, situated in picturesque Doonfoot, South Ayrshire, opened in January 2021 and offers a selection of high quality ensuite rooms featuring a range of modern conveniences. The care home provides the highest quality personalised nursing care for older people including those living with dementia and its related conditions.

As a Kitchen Assistant, Meallmore will allocate you your own mentor, as well as a comprehensive induction process. But why stop there? Your role as a Meallmore Kitchen Assistant will include:

• Keeping the kitchen areas clean and tidy
\n
• Supporting the catering team with basic food preparation as they create seasonal meals for our residents
\n
• Properly cleaning and sanitising all food preparation areas according to established standards of hygiene
\n
• Assist with specialist dietary requirements
\n
• Serve nutritional meals
\n

Desired skills:

• Basic knowledge of food preparation

• Basic knowledge of food hygiene
\n
• The ability to stand for extended periods.
\n
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
\n

\n

Salary: £11.50 per hour + benefits + overtime

Hours: 15 hours per week
