Antony James recruitment is currently supporting a Client on the England/Scotland Border in recruiting a Kitchen Porter/Assistant

My client in Cumbria is a vibrant and contemporary Michelin starred restaurant located in the heart of this picturesque countryside destination venue in Pentonbridge. Renowned for its chic decor and relaxed atmosphere, my client offers an eclectic menu featuring locally sourced ingredients from its sister site and is focused on creating french classics on the England/Scotland border.

Job Details:

Position: Kitchen Porter/Assistant

Salary: �20,000 - �24,000

Shift pattern: 4/7 Wednesday to Sunday (Sunday only breakfast)

Responsibilities

• Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks
• Ensure kitchen areas are clean, organized, and well-maintained
• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans
• Handle deliveries and store ingredients appropriately
• Dispose of rubbish and maintain cleanliness standards in all kitchen areas
• Follow health and safety guidelines at all times
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager
