Kitchen Porter

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team. The Kitchen Porter will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation�of the kitchen, supporting the chefs and kitchen staff in various tasks, and ensuring a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.
Responsibilities:

• Wash and clean pots, pans, utensils, and dishes
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas
• Assist in the preparation of ingredients and basic cooking tasks as needed
• Dispose of waste and recycling properly
• Unload and store deliveries, ensuring proper stock rotation
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
• Assist in organising�the kitchen and keeping it tidy
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Chef or kitchen staff

You'll have:

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential
• Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety standards
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• High level of cleanliness and attention to detail
• Physical stamina to perform manual tasks and lift heavy items
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays
