Kitchen Porter Attractive Salary and Benefits 37.5 Hour week Randalstown Who are we? Working as Kitchen Porter you will: Look after the general upkeep and cleanliness of the production area ensuring to use the correct cleaning chemicals for specific jobs. Ensure the correct storage of clean equipment, utensils and chemicals. Ensure that clean equipment and utensils are available as required. Accurately record and safely remove all waste efficiently and responsibly. Remove all paper and cardboard casings efficiently and responsibly using the bailer as required. Ensuring the production area is free from any hazards which may cause slips, trips or falls, assisting with cleaning up any spillages immediately. To ensure the highest standard of Personal Hygiene and observe the Company Dress Code to comply with Food Safety Regulations. Ensure all equipment is maintained according to guidelines and report any faults or defects immediately. Skills for Success It would be desirable if you had experience working in a kitchen (or similar environment) but dont worry if you have no previous retail or foodservice experience - well provide you with all the right training. It is desirable if you have: Awareness of health and safety with experience of using cleaning chemicals. A relevant food safety/hygiene certificate or a basic understanding of food safety. This is a full-time position working 37.5 hours per week, working any 5 days out of 7 usually between the hours of 6.30am-2.30pm. Flexibility will be required in terms of working hours.
