KS1 SEN TA in Hounslow

Vision Teaching are currently on the lookout for a confidenr, passionate and energetic SEN TA to join and Ofsted rated ‘Good’ school in Hounslow. This will be a long-term role to start in September 2024. The ideal KS1 SEN TA will be someone who wants to make a difference and enjoys working with pupils with various needs. Experience with SEND would be ideal.

As a SEN TA, you will play a vital role in supporting students with a range of learning and behavioural needs. Your responsibilities will include:

The role

• Assisting students in the classroom to ensure their engagement and understanding.


• Providing one-on-one support to students with various needs such as ADHD, ASD and behavioural needs


• Working with small groups to help break down learning.


• Collaborating with teachers and the SEN department to create tailored learning plans.


• Encouraging independence, confidence, and a love for learning amongst students

The ideal candidate will be:

• Nurturing and patient with students with SEN


• Fantastic communication and interpersonal skills


• Someone who has a ‘can do’ attitude


• Have experience working with pupils with SEND 

Requirements

• Reference confirming suitability for the role


• An understanding of safeguarding


• An Enhanced DBS
