Year 6 Teacher in Dartford

Role: Year 6 Teacher
Location: Dartford
Employment Type: Full time, Long term
Start Date: January 2025
Salary: £169- £259 per day, dependent on experience

Job Description:

  • 3 hours PPA a week (above required amount)
  • 1 whole day PPA per half term
  • Minimal planning, adapting exisiting plans
  • White Rose maths - using manipulatives and practical maths
  • No displays in classrooms, only working walls
  • Handover days in December with current class teacher

I'm recruiting for a community focussed primary school in the Dartford area, who are looking for a qualified teacher to teach in a year 6 class in a mainstream primary school. The current class teacher is leaving due to personal reasons, the school has very little staff turnover.


The school are looking for someone to support a year 6 class, teaching the curriclum and keeping children at the heart of the learning. The school is well equipped with ICT resources (ipads in every class) and outdoor facilities.
