KS2 Teaching Assistant

Tradewind is currently recruiting for a Primary Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and diverse Year 4 class in the Hyde area. This is an exciting opportunity to support the class teacher in creating an inclusive and dynamic learning environment.

Role Details:

• Position: Primary Teaching Assistant
• Location: Year 4 class in Hyde
• Start Date: As soon as possible
• Contract: Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom support to the class teacher
• Assist in creating a positive and engaging learning atmosphere
• Support individual students and small groups as needed
• Work with children with SEND requirements (if applicable)

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience: Prior experience working with children is essential. Experience with SEND children is highly beneficial.
• Skills: Proactive, resilient, and able to engage effectively with young learners.
• Attitude: A positive, flexible, and can-do approach to supporting classroom activities.
