We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Religious Education (RE) Teacher for a full-time position at a well-established secondary school in Warrington. The school is a lively 11-16 school located on a spacious and well-equipped campus in Warrington. Its a caring, forward-thinking place where students' academic success and personal growth go hand in hand.
The Role:
Plan and deliver engaging Religious Education lessons that align with the national curriculum standards.
Create a positive, inclusive, and challenging classroom environment that encourages student participation, critical thinking, and independent learning.
Regularly assess and track student progress, offering timely, helpful feedback to support both their academic and personal growth.
Get involved in school-wide activities and initiatives, helping to promote and strengthen the schools values and ethos.
Work closely with colleagues in the department and across the school to create and deliver innovative, engaging lessons.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
A degree in Religious Studies or a related subject.
Experience teaching at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 is desirable.
A genuine passion for Religious Studies and a commitment to engaging and inspiring students.
Strong classroom management skills and a positive approach to student development.
