Lab Assistant

Lab Assistant will support the laboratory operations by preparing, analysing, and documenting seed samples. This role involves working closely with other lab staff to ensure that all tests are conducted accurately and efficiently according to industry standards and regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sampling and testing of loads, including computer, physical and sensory checks, germination, moisture, and TN.


• Entering load information including test results into a database


• Testing of pre delivery samples


• Entering pre delivery sample results onto database


• Raising any quality concerns with Management for second opinion


• Calibration and maintenance of lab equipment

This is a temporary position starting mid-august for around 6 weeks, would suit students or individuals in between jobs. Salary is �12 per hour with overtime paid after 40 hours per week.
