Temporary  3 Month contract that could extend, £12ph – 3 – 4 days days per week 8.30am -5pm

One of our clients is looking for a Laboratory Technician.  You will be joining a small, but busy production operation where you will find security in a supportive and friendly environment. This company manufacture, pack and re-pack chemical powders and liquids.

The duties of the laboratory technician include:

• Maintenance of the laboratory and surrounding storage areas.


• Day-to-day basic laboratory maintenance and housekeeping


• Logging, data entry and archiving of electronic logs and databases as well as writing reports.


• You will be quality control testing of products and raw materials.


• Involved in method development of new quality control procedures.

Requirements of the laboratory technician:

• Ideally, you will be educated to A Level standard in Chemistry with good communication skills, both verbal and written.


• Have experience of working within a lab environment, this could be in school or university and a good eye for observation.


• Able to quickly learn and understand the chemical processes.
