Job Description

Labourer Operative
£12.84 - £13.21 per hour, Temporary ongoing with the potential to become permanent. 
Northampton, although work will be based across the UK.
 
ACS Staffing Solutions are currently looking for a number of Labourer Operatives to work on behalf of our client – a family run business who are market leaders in temporary buildings/structures and complete projects for some really exciting well-known companies/events!
 
 You must have a UK Driver's License and one of the tickets below, due to the type of role.

  • IPAF 3A / 3B

  • IPAF 1A / 1B

This type of work will require you to be working outside and to assist the team with the construction of these structures. The teams each have a fully equipped company van to access locations of work.
 
Labourer Operative Experience? No Experience needed however would be suitable for someone from a construction  or industry background within a similar field of work, and/or if you have tickets or if you have a keen interest in getting into the construction industry.
 
Labourer Operative Hours:

  • Our client offer’s a 40-hour contract with a minimum of 1 unpaid hour of lunch per day however due to the nature of the work they are looking for candidates dedicated and able to work as a team to complete projects so they may require people to stay onsite later
  • \n
  • Overtime hours worked over 40 hours in midweek are paid at a 1.25 rate
  • \n
  • Hours worked on a Saturday are 1.5, hours worked on a Sunday and bank holiday are 2.0.

  • In addition to the per hour rate, they offer a daily allowance of around £7.05 for expenses, and when staying overnight you will be given a stop out allowance or around £12.00 per night away (Dinner/Lunch included)
