Labourer

Connect Appointments have a new opportunity available for a Labourer in the Cambuslang area.

Pay rate: £12 to £12.85 per hour

Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 2:15pm to 10:30pm. Friday, 2:15pm to 9:15pm

You will work 37.5 hours per week, but be paid for 40 as you are paid through your breaks.

We are welcoming applications from experienced joiners at a Level 3 standard.

As a Labourer, you will be responsible for:

• Working on production and construction benches, preparing timber frames using different handheld tools, saws, and machines
• Manual labour that involves heavy lifting
• Ensuring health and safety policies are adhered to and maintained at all times
• General housekeeping duties and manual handling

The ideal Labourer will be:

• Able to work well in a team, or as an individual
• Flexible, and eager to be trained to work on all benches to keep production running smoothly
• Experienced from working in a similar role, or on sites or warehouses (beneficial, but not required as training is available)
