Land Buyer

Burlington Property Group (BPG) are a growing and ambitious land and property developer based in SE London. We are looking for two land buyers to join our team.The RoleThe Land Buyers are responsible for generating and securing land opportunities that meet the company’s acquisition requirements and will report directly to the Senior Land Manager and/or Land Director.Key Responsibilities·
Site finding and identification of suitable brownfield sites for residential led development opportunities across the UK·
Establish, build and maintain effective working relationships with landowners and land agents·
Assess development potential of sites through feasibility, planning and technical review·
Work closely with the Senior Land Manager to determine value of potential development land and prepare land offers that meet requirements of the business·
Prepare and produce due diligence and HOTs·
Take an active role in the land department, maintaining site database and providing additional support where requiredExperience/Qualifications·
2 years’ experience working as a land buyer, land agent or estate agent·
Property related degree·
RICS desirable but not essentialSkills·
Self-starter with energy and enthusiasm·
Competent using site finding/mapping software to identify development opportunities·
Effective interpersonal skills·
Competent with financial appraisals and strong IT skills·
Confident picking up the phone with excellent telephone manner·
Works collaboratively as part of a team·
Works effectively to deadlines and competently works on multiple tasks simultaneouslyRole and working conditions·
Willing to be flexible in respect to day to day duties and hours worked·
