As part of their ambitious growth plans, they are on the lookout for a dynamic Land Manager/Land Buyer to join their team and help shape the future of residential development.
Key Purpose of the Role: As a Strategic Land Manager/Land Buyer, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, negotiating, and acquiring land for new homes. Reporting to the Head of Land, you will collaborate with multiple departments to coordinate land offers and manage section 106 agreements. Your strategic thinking and expertise will be crucial in creating comprehensive land packs and supporting the company's growth ambitions.
Key Responsibilities:
Land Acquisition: Identify and assess potential land opportunities for new homes, conducting thorough site evaluations and feasibility studies.
Negotiation: Negotiate land purchases, ensuring favourable terms and conditions while maintaining strong relationships with landowners, agents, and stakeholders.
Coordination: Work closely with various departments, including planning, design, and legal, to coordinate land offers and ensure smooth project progression.
Section 106 Management: Review and manage section 106 agreements, ensuring compliance with local planning authorities and optimising development potential.
Collaboration: Collaborate with the Head of Land to develop and present comprehensive land packs, supporting decision-making processes and strategic planning.
