A client within the Private Sector based in Cheshire / Greater Manchester is currently recruiting for a Landscape Architect Design Lead to join their Team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full-time, permanent position with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a landscape design environment.

The Role
Key purpose of the role is to develop and manage a portfolio of landscape design projects as Design Lead, consolidating and growing the existing landscape design team and expanding the current portfolio and client base.

The Role
Key purpose of the role is to develop and manage a portfolio of landscape design projects as Design Lead, consolidating and growing the existing landscape design team and expanding the current portfolio and client base.

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Leading the development and management of landscape design projects across various scales and work stages.
- Providing master planning and mitigation design for major infrastructure projects.
- Supporting planning and landscape planning colleagues with landscape design expertise.
- Delivering flood defence design support for the Environment Agency.
- Managing projects from concept to site delivery while ensuring quality, time, and budget demands are met.
The Candidate
To be considered for this role, you will require:
- Chartered Landscape Architect status
- Strong experience in landscape design and implementation.
- Experience managing projects from concept to site delivery.
- Good communicator with the ability to work closely with clients and internal teams.
- Strong working knowledge of landscape design across a range of scales and work stages.
- Practical experience with the internal structures, relationships, and processes of the Environment Agency is advantageous but not essential.
