We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Law and Politics Teacher to join our team! This is a full-time position, starting ASAP, ideal for someone passionate about helping students achieve their full potential in Law and Politics.

About the role:

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive lessons in Law and Politics to A-Level students, helping them develop critical thinking and analytical skills. In this role, you will be expected to create a stimulating learning environment that encourages debate, discussion, and a deep understanding of legal and political concepts. In this role, you will be guiding students through their coursework and exam preparation, ensuring they are well-equipped to achieve excellent results and succeed in their future academic and professional pursuits.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging Law and Politics lessons to A-Level students.
  • Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development in both subjects.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel supported and motivated to engage with complex legal and political issues.
  • Contribute to the wider school community, participating in extracurricular activities such as debate clubs and team meetings.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Law and Politics curriculum, using a variety of teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning needs.

Requirements:


  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or (PCET) essential.
  • Experience teaching Law or Politics at A-Level desirable.
  • A strong commitment to student achievement and academic progress.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to succeed in Law and Politics.
