Role: Lead Data ArchitectLocation: LondonSalary: 95-115kContract: PermanentExciting career opportunity to help a Chief Data Officer shape and mature the organisations Data capabilities. As the Lead Data Architect, you will provide strategic advisory, data architecture and data modelling to support create a data driven IT Operation in enabling the organisation to exploit data. Working with the CDO you will have a broad job in promoting good data management practices throughout the organisation which has a large tech team, c100 people. You will be assisting to the organisation bridge the gap between the business and technical teams to realise the potential of their data and technology investment. You will support on the implementation of a data strategy, data governance, translation of data principles into conceptual, logical, and physical data models as well as setting fit for purpose data standards for the organisation. You will be leading/managing a team of technical resources, delivering a vast portfolio of work supporting key strategic projects in parallel to fixing data foundations as well as translating the organisations data strategy into designs, working closely with various business areas, understanding their data needs and future integration. Suited candidates will have previous experience of work to exec level staff and will have excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to lead and inspire taking others on a journey. This role would also suit a Lead Data Architect who has a deep and broad technical data architecture background. Experience of having successfully worked for one of the big 4 consultancy’s or an advisory job in another reputable company, as a Lead Data Architect – Insurance domain might be useful. Specific Reinsurance experience would also be very advantageous.
