This is a great opportunity for an experienced Design Engineer looking for an exciting new direction in their career, working on varied and interesting projects with an innovative & collaborative company.
In this role you will be leading a small team in the design & modification of Marine products / equipment, producing drawings for manufacture, assisting with quotes & instruction manuals & supporting R&D teams with innovative projects within the marine industry.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and driven lead Engineer with a passion for the Marine industry to join an innovative and continually expanding company who can offer a varied and interesting role in a high performing team.
The role

• Designing new & modifying existing products /equipment within the marine industry
• Producing drawings for manufacture,
• Assisting with quotes
• Developing instruction manuals
• Supporting R&D teams with innovative projects

The person

• Degree qualified & passionate about the marine industry
• Motivated & able to lead a small team, with the ability to offer fresh new ideas in a collaborative teamwork approach
• Proficient with SolidWorks
• Lives within commutable distance to Liskeard
• Candidates from a range of industries will be considered (Mechanical, Marine, Oil & Gas, renewables etc.)
