Penso has developed skills in project and supply chain management with quality systems and processes to deliver complex solutions to the highest standards and is driven by an innovative spirit, renowned for applying state-of-the-art technologies to the automotive, defence, aerospace, rail and marine sectors.ResponsibilitiesCompany Policies: Manage and follow the quality, health, safety, and welfare policies of the companyCoordinate the engineering team and test system administrators to produce and communicate vehicle and commodity test plansMeet the test and certification requirements for vehicle type approval and certification by selecting correct routes for type approval.Communicate with suppliers to identify the components required to satisfy the test programmeCoordinate & control the required samples throughout the entire validation phase from ordering through to receipt, build and testing.Communicate with key stakeholders / suppliers to ensure ample capacity for test requirements.Liaise with type approval authorities in supporting applications for type approvalProduce and present clear and professional technical reports.Company Policies: Manage and follow the quality, health, safety, and welfare policies of the company.Essential SkillsEngineering degree or equivalent within a relevant subjectGood understanding of test theory, reliability theory and statisticsAbility to produce clear and accurate technical reports to an extremely high standardOperational experience with excellent planning and communication skillsEngineering design knowledgeAbility to work efficiently within your roleExcellent communication skillsExcels in organisational skills and time managementA drive to learn and improve at every opportunityWillingness to support othersPositive attitude towards mastering challenges and changesMust have IDLR/Full Rights to Work in UK - Sponsorship or Work Permits will not be accepted/ provided.Desirable SkillsAwareness of vehicle homologation requirements and standards.Please note we do not provide sponsorships to those who require it and will only accept applications from those who have full rights to work in the UK with no restrictions and IDLR/Full Settlement status.
